Uh oh. Back to the darker paintings again. I really wanted to paint this one. It's actually the second time I tried it. First time I painted it, it didn't work. But this time I am happy with the mood it conveys.

Ever been out somewhere and felt really good? Felt that you looked top of your game? And then suddenly you turn around and someone's staring at you menacingly? Takes you out of your comfort zone. Suddenly the whole mood changes from good to panic.

Or a secret that has been discovered. And suddenly your image of security has dissipated. And the cold harshness of reality is judging you.

I wanted the warm, inviting colors in the door way slowly draining into cold and dark as you move from the safety of where you were just a few moments ago

That's when you have been 'Clocked'.
